Love American history? The Betsy Apron from Two Medium Sized Ladies celebrates American independence and ingenuity! Betsy Ross was the 8th of 17 children in a devoted Revolutionary family and in the 1700s was already a fourth-generation American. It is assumed that her participation in making the stars and stripes was because she was a seamstress but she was not! Instead she was an upholsterer and one of the things she specialized in was flags. She is credited specifically with designing the five point star residing on our American flag today.
